Changing direction once more, it is worth discovering the nature on offer; branching out along one of the many paths leading off the “Wine Route” and into the hills and mountains. There is the chance of direct contact with the magical and uncontaminated natural and geological world. For sports lovers, as well as nature lovers, there is a wide range of activities for all tastes: wonderful horse rides, mountain bike treks, paragliding, professional spelaeological expeditions within the Caves of Frasassi, fishing along the Esino, Potenza and Chienti rivers and, according to the season, mushroom or wild asparagus hunting.
